The trick is to keep it clean and sanitary. That way you can still run without the fear of it popping and getting infected while you're pounding the pavement :)

A highly effective but short term measure is cover the foot and effected area in petroleum jelly. This should provide instant relief from pain but as the heat from the foot melts the petroleum jelly it will run away and be ineffective.

I tried to go for a run this morning.
But I woke up to find a blister on a blister.
It’s horrible. It’s like someone was stabbing a knife in to the back of my heel the whole time.
And I felt like I left my sister down - this was the first time she’d come with me and she told me how excited she was.
Oh well. I’m going to go in to town, buy a shit ton of tape and plasters...

Checking in from the beach!
So I’m finally up at my beach place. It’s fucking awesome.
I got a camera for Christmas so I’ll upload photos of my summer!
This morning I got up at 6:45 and I went for a RUN! That’s right! A run!
And then I played some cricket for a while before going for another walk.
My eating today wasn’t fantastic but I can live with that.
