So I don’t have to work today. It’s the first Saturday I haven’t had to work in over 2 months. So I went down to the Saturday morning markets. When I got there I was drawn to the churro line. But I don’t understand why people get inspiration from looking at people who have probably never been over weight in their life! I don’t understand at all. In fact I think it’s de-motivational. Looking at these people who have these wonderful bodies who have never had to work for it. Just saying.
I’m still sick but I couldn’t wait to get home and try some new exercises I found on the interbuttz last night. I forgot to bring the paper as to what I did but it felt great. So the equipment I’ve got is: a yellow theraband a swiss ball and a pair of 1kg dumbbells. They’re my new best friends. :D

I’m sick at the moment. A really bad cold. I’ve got a constant head ache. So I haven’t really done any exercise. And I’ve got a week off from horse riding even though I still wanna go out and ride Rommy. Flying out to Samoa in a week. I’m so excited but I hope I can shake this sickness!

Dinner - Smoked fish.
So tonight mum made smoked fish in a white sauce. It’s one of my favourite foods and if you do it right, it’s pretty healthy. What it is is a smoked fish which she has broken up in to small pieces and removed the bones. Then she made a white sauce which is pretty easy. So last week I was pretty flat out with stuff and didn’t really have time to post. Being busy, my dieting went out the window. So this week it’s time to be on my best behaviour. :D
Horse riding was awesome!
So I think I’m all set for my test. I went through it twice and I managed to pretty much iron out any bumps by the second one. We’re doing some stuff we haven’t done before. Like a walk jump where you do a jump at a walk and the horse has to actually jump, not just step over and a halt to canter transition which is fairly self explanatory. And of course, leg yielding. Sassy water recipe.
2 liters water (about 8 ½ cups) 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger 1 medium cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced 1 medium lemon, thinly sliced 12 small spearmint leaves. Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and let flavors blend overnight. Drink the entire pitcher by the end of each day.

He pretty much said that I’m gaining weight because of the effect the depo provera jab that I stopped getting in April last year. It’s still having an effect on my body and he said that there’s nothing I can do. :( Super depressed.
